The Hollywood Museum is thrilled to roll out the red carpet and provide you with a custom, private event that delivers an authentic Hollywood experience for 20- 500 guests.  Your event will be filled with true Hollywood magic as your guests will be dazzled by the glamour of The Historic Max Factor Building and delight in seeing more than 10,000 real show biz treasures on display in The Hollywood Museum.

You will explore costumes, awards, photos, cars, sets, posters and prized possessions of Hollywood’s famous legends—spanning 100 Years of Hollywood—from the Silents to Talkies to Hollywood’s Golden Era, Film Noir, through the rebellious 60’s, special effects 70’s, evolving 80’s,  involved 90’s, technological 2000’s, and beyond to current day heartthrobs!

The museum is pleased to offer turn-key special events for personal, corporate, and fundraising celebrations. Someone’s in the Kitchen, our award-winning caterer and design team, will professionally orchestrate the food, beverage, and décor while working closely with you to tailor selections and budget for your star-studded event.

Options include music, entertainment, a red-carpet “step and repeat” plus an “all access pass” that lets guests party in the museum’s top-floor Penthouse Ballroom and explore all four floors of authentic Hollywood memorabilia, including the basement’s spine tingling “Dungeon of Doom”.

The Hollywood Museum’s special event team will help you create a theme that transforms The Historic Max Factor Building into a showcase for your event.  It is an ideal space for charity events, corporate meetings, private parties, after-parties, special screening events, industry conventions, tradeshows, lectures, award ceremonies, book signings, luncheons, cocktail receptions, and formal dinners… the list of possibilities goes on and on.

An Evening of Glamour at The Hollywood Museum

Enter The Hollywood Museum and be transported into a world where Hollywood glamour was created. The Grand Art Deco Lobby leads to Max Factor’s 4 World Famous Makeup Rooms, the Historic Photo Gallery, the Science Fiction Exhibit, and an intimate Screening Room.

 

The 2nd floor showcases seasonally rotating special exhibits; the 3rd floor is home to  “100 Years of Hollywood” –from Mary Pickford and Rudolph Valentino, to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and the ever-popular official “Hollywood Walk of Fame” exhibits. The grand Penthouse Ballroom on the 4th floor is reserved for special events— and in the lower level, beware of the “Dungeon of Doom.”

The Art of Catering!

Meals and entertainment designed to complement the theme of your event and accommodate your budget can range from formal sit-down dinners, to cocktail parties, receptions, themed buffet food stations, and beverage bars strategically placed throughout the museum. Guests may tour the exhibits with a drink in their hands while enjoying tasty appetizers along the way. Don’t forget to ask about our “living red carpet” and the “candy and cigarette girls” who serve vintage candy and treats in authentic, Hollywood-style costumes!
